 Empowering Future Innovators: Rosebank College Hosts Entrepreneurship Workshop for Students


In a bid to foster creativity and cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurship, Rosebank College recently played host to an impactful entrepreneurship and innovation workshop for its students. The event took place on the 31st of August and saw enthusiastic participation from a diverse group of aspiring young minds.

The workshop, organised with the aim of equipping students with practical skills and insights into the world of entrepreneurship, featured seasoned industry professionals as guest speakers. These experts shared their experiences, providing valuable perspectives on navigating the challenges of the business world.


Rosebank College played host to an impactful entrepreneurship and innovation workshop on the 31st of August, offering students a unique opportunity to gain insights from industry leaders and experts.

The first keynote speaker, Mr. Mighty Mighty Mabule from Mabule Entrepreneurs, captivated the audience with his entrepreneurial journey, providing valuable lessons and motivation for aspiring business minds.

Mr. Khathu from NYDA (National Youth Development Agency) added a youth-centric perspective, emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in entrepreneurship. Makhurumetja Kgotse from SARS shed light on the essential aspects of taxation for budding entrepreneurs.

Kgotso Letsoalo from Sanlam, Mr. Katleho Morala from SEDA (Small Enterprise Development Agency), and Buhlekonke from Buhlekonke Architects brought diverse perspectives to the table, covering topics ranging from financial planning to architectural innovation.

Tshepo Matseba, a successful business owner, shared invaluable insights on strategic communication, underscoring its pivotal role in the success of any venture.

The workshop also featured a presentation from PRISA (Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa) and Lale Communications by Mrs. Manana, highlighting the significance of effective communication in building a brand and fostering positive relationships.

The engaging sessions provided students with a holistic view of entrepreneurship, from the initial stages of ideation to the practical aspects of business operations. Attendees left the workshop inspired and equipped with knowledge that will undoubtedly shape their entrepreneurial journeys.
